Attempting to locate and identify mushrooms in the wild can be very dangerous, as many edibles closely resemble poisonous varieties. Often the only identifying differences are small and easy to miss. Stay safe and avoid consuming mushrooms that haven't been 100% positively identified.

Varieties of Magic Mushrooms

Psilocybin containing mushrooms are very popular, maybe because there are dozens of different varieties naturally growing throughout the world. Almost every climate zone has at least one variety.
